The Erasmus Mundus emiSS is a two year joint masters program for students who want to become experts in soil science and sustainable land management. You learn soil physics, chemistry, biology, hydrology, classification, pollution control, fertility, conservation, and how soils support ecosystems, biodiversity, carbon storage and food production. The program mixes strong scientific theory with practical fieldwork, lab work and research to train the next generation of soil scientists.
